Lisa Kramp, children’s author and founder of Montreal River Press.

About the Author

Lisa Kramp grew up in a small northern Ontario community along the Montreal River, where nature, imagination, and a healthy dose of adventure were part of everyday life. She later moved to Toronto, where she studied and worked in paediatric nursing.

A lifelong storyteller, Lisa loves creating imaginative adventures filled with humour, heart, curiosity, and just a little bit of chaos. Inspired by the magic of childhood and the wonderfully unexpected ways children and animals see the world, she creates colourful stories with characters young readers can cheer for.

The Unsinkable Ship That Almost Sunk is a celebration of courage, curiosity, and the unexpected heroes who notice what others might miss.
